Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Binh, Chairman of the School Council of Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy, emphasized that the job consulting and introduction festival for students is like a bridge to help students get a job. opportunities to interact, demonstrate personal abilities and find job opportunities in the right training major at agencies, units and businesses.

Present at the festival, Dr. Pham Hong Thai, Deputy Director of Son La Provincial Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, said that the hospital is currently in need of recruiting more than 20 doctors specializing in traditional medicine and pharmacy. According to Thai doctors, in recent years, the demand for patients to examine and treat traditional medicine has increased. Therefore, the hospital is also growing in size from 120 beds to nearly 400 beds, the need to recruit quality human resources in traditional medicine and pharmacy is huge.

“Currently, Son La province also has a policy to attract doctors to work with an attraction level of 45 – 105 million VND/doctor when returning to work, in addition, salary, insurance, and welfare regimes are guaranteed. according to regulations. We traveled more than 300km to come here with the hope of directly meeting and discussing with students about job opportunities and listening to their wishes. In fact, currently human resources are limited. Traditional medicine doctors and pharmacists are in short supply. Talking more with Health & Life reporter , Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Quang Huy – Deputy Director of Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy said that the traditional medicine and pharmacy industry is developing, with job opportunities for students. Graduates are very large.

“Just today, there were 12 recruitment units connected to the academy. Among them, many hospitals have large recruitment needs such as Nghe An in the 4th quarter with a need to recruit up to 60 doctors of traditional medicine and pharmacy. Or Son La recruits 20 doctors and nurses. The academy connects with employers to help students find suitable jobs. At the same time, it also helps recruitment units access human resources and doctors. , pharmacists with professional qualifications” – Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Quang Huy said.

General hospitals specialize in traditional medicine, and provinces have hospitals specializing in traditional medicine.
